The 2025 India Mission Trip took place from July 8th to July 20th, with 18 participants representing six different Mar Thoma parishes across the USA and Canada. The journey began at the Nallur Mission Center in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The Pollachi Mission, under the Mar Thoma Church, encompasses 11 mission centers and serves 80 village ministries. Participants engaged meaningfully with villagers, both children and the elderly, offering support and taking part in various mission activities. The second phase of the trip was centered around the Palakkad Mission in Kerala, which was established in 1924. Interactive sessions were conducted in several institutions and churches affiliated with this mission, providing opportunities for learning and service. The final phase included a visit to Attapadi (Kerala) and surrounding areas, where participants were introduced to the work of the Darshana Deaddiction and Rehabilitation Center. They also had the opportunity to worship and interact with members of the local tribal community. Overall, the mission trip was a deeply enriching and eye-opening experience, offering spiritual growth, cross-cultural understanding, and a renewed commitment to service.
